Jakie is quite an understated character but don’t let that fool you – this guy is BRILLIANT – passionate, hardworking, incredibly professional and he really knows how to get the best out of people.
Before the wedding he really went out of his way to get to know us – we had a great engagement shoot with him and he even visited the venue with us to scout the best places for photographs on the big day.
On the day itself he and his assistant were consummate professionals and made everyone feel completely at ease – Jakie actually travelled to the venue with my groomsmen and I on the tube which was great fun – we got some really great shots and by the time we arrived we were already enjoying ourselves!
When we got the photos back from him my wife and I were amazed – There were so many great shots and loads that we didn’t even remember him being there for! He’s got real gift for melting into the background and catching people at their natural best.

I was looking for a reasonable wedding photographer and when I met with Jakie he set us up with exactly what we wanted and needed. He tailored our wedding day to give us the most out of the day. His photography style should be in magazines!!! I couldn’t have found a better person.
Another plus is that he is extremely patient and nice to work with. When friends and family seemed to get in the way when he was taking photos he was so respectful without even seeming bothered. He was so chill and professional!!! These photos are amazing!!! Thank you Jakie!!!!
From the moment we first met with Alex ‘Jakie’ we knew he was the one. We left that meeting telling him we have more research to do. We both walked out and said we’re booking him! We loved his vision, warm personality and obvious professionalism.
We had an additional photographer due to our guest numbers. Alex & Max were on time, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them (especially considering they were required at 4 different locations). They displayed impeccable professionalism and blended in with ease. We felt like they were our wedding guests.

Jakie was exactly the type of photographer we were looking for when we got married.
As it was such a tiny wedding and we only needed the photographer to be there during the ceremony and for some family photos afterwards we found it so difficult to find a photographer who charged by the hour rather that having to pay for a full package.
When Jakie said he was available for our wedding day I was thrilled, we had an informal consultation beforehand, he was so flexible meeting me round the corner from my London office! We kept in touch right up to the day.
He was so patient as on the day we were all stuck in traffic and when I contacted him he told me not to worry.
Family members advised me that he was busy clicking away before I arrived which was perfect as I really wanted lots of family photos. After I arrived I was completely oblivious to Jakies presence (which must be a sign of a great photographer).
He made us all feel so comfortable and took some gorgeous photos of the toddlers that were there – which can’t be easy as they never do what they’re told!
After the ceremony as it was a beautiful day he suggested a lovely park to take some more shots outside.
We are so happy with the photographs they’re are beautiful. Jakie is truly a professional and we definitely recommend him. We have some beautiful memories of our wedding day which we can show our daughter as she is too young to remember.

I hope that’s not disappointing, but I’m afraid I don’t have anything “negative” to report. We both felt that you had a good balance between taking your shots as an “invisible man” and leading some couple and family shots. It sounds silly since we don’t know each other well, but the engagement shoot was so important and we felt that you were part of the wedding as a friend, I think that helped a lot. Thank you for your patience during the outside shots, I was absolutely freezing!! The time spent away from the wedding party was not too long and not too short and I have all the shots I wished for 🙂 and you worked so independently that we didn’t need to worry about you guys

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. From our love story photos to the wedding day, everything was perfection. The photos you took of both ourselves and our family will always be our most treasured because you were there to make us feel at ease, and translate what was important to us into pictures. They go above and beyond what wedding photos should be, we can look at each one and remember the exact moment, perfectly captured.
Jakie was an excellent photographer. We met before the wedding so he could work out what sort of photos I wanted. On the day he was on time and was very discreet about taking the pictures, my husband is usually camera shy and he made us both feel at ease. He took a mixture of group shots and natural photos. We were delighted with the finished product and have since recommended Jakie to a number of friends for their weddings. His photos even made it into Brides Magazine as wedding of the week.
Me and Jakie are friends. Frankly saying I was a little bit nervous cause he will be to relaxed but it was opposite. We got some crazy pictures cause he was in the moment. They are exactly what we wanted and we could have chosen many, many more for our album. It was fantastic to see them while on honeymoon.

What can we say…Jakie was amazing! We had a high standard for our Wedding and Jakie delivered! He was both professional and a pleasant person to work with.
